Everything starts with as pure water as possible and in Finland we have the purest water in the world. Puhdistamo uses still extra method to clean the water so the  water is almost as pure as if it had been distilled. This is the reason that the tea’s nutrients and aromas are absorbed in the water in a unique way. Kombucha’s tea base is organic Sencha, one of the classic Japanese green tea varieties with a rich aroma palette. Sugar plays an important role in the fermentation process of kombucha and acts as a fuel for the development of probiotics. The sugar is not added to the drink as a sweetening and it is not white sugar but organic cane sugar. There is only  6g of sugar per 100ml, which is significantly less than traditional soft drinks.

Komucha is  combination of yeasts and lactic acid bacteria that utilize the sugars and nutrients of the drink. Making a kombucha drink is like art. Like fermentation or fermentation in general, the process of making kombucha is particularly sensitive and cheap is not really good. Fermentation is carried out accurately at 26-28 degrees in modern steel tanks to achieve the highest possible quality. It takes about four weeks for the time and love to make one bottle. Do not shake. Open carefully. It is possible to develop some alcohol in the fermentation process (<1.2%), and kombucha is therefore unsuitable for persons who are alergic to an even a slight amount of alcohol. After opening, store in a refrigerator. Use within 3 days of opening.
